Focus on warning people about scam tactics and helping them protect themselves, rather than sensationalizing my past mistakes.
- Principle 2
Please avoid inflated titles like 'mastermind hacker', 'world's top hacker', or 'computer genius'. Simply 'cybersecurity specialist Ngo Minh Hieu' or 'co-founder of Chống Lừa Đảo' is enough.
- Principle 3
Every result we achieve is the shared work of a whole team and community, never one person alone.

Verified biographical summary
Ngo Minh Hieu (HieuPC), born in 1989 in Gia Lai, is a co-founder of the non-profit project Chống Lừa Đảo, founder of the cybersecurity company CyPeace, and the founder of the SHIELD by HieuPC community. He previously worked at the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) of Vietnam. Between 2007 and 2013 he was involved in the illegal trade of personal data; he was arrested in Guam in 2013 and sentenced to 13 years in US federal prison. After an early release and his return to Vietnam at the end of 2020, he has devoted his expertise to threat research, scanning malicious websites, and helping people protect themselves from scams.
